Tougher sanctions against Iran and Syria in focus when Carl Bildt participates in foreign ministers meeting
Tomorrow, Thursday 1 December, Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt will attend the Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels. Issues on the agenda include a discussion and decision on tougher sanctions against Syria and Iran. Political developments in Egypt and the Middle East peace process will also be discussed.
There will be an opportunity for the press to meet Mr Bildt in the Swedish press room at the Justus Lipsius Building after the meeting ends, at approximately 16.00.
